"Voice of the Wind"

Apologies for the lack of updates, lives thrown a little loop at me here and there, but I always manage to jump though it. This project has took some time simply because of the design elements having to be added together piece by piece, then getting approval to move onto the next. One of my very talented and longtime friends whom is a both a artisan and a composer whom goes by the online and alias of "WolfHeart" creates from scratch Native American flutes of all sorts carved of wood. Not only does He create these beautiful woodwinds, he also carves and decorates them adorning them with ornamental sculpture and bead work. His talents don't stop there; Wolfheart is a talented composer and arranger of his own music!
He as well as I have been working side by side in creating his debut album entitled "Voice of the Wind" which will feature his compositions. The track titles and times are merely placeholders until the actual compositions have been given names and recorded. I am very pleased to have been asked to work on this design for him.

Izze Drink Ad

Wow its amazing how thirsty this makes one doing something like this! *laughs* on a Trip to the much awesome Whole Foods market I picked up some meals for the week and treated myself to something I haven't had in sometime since I was working for East West in the summer, an Izze drink. I have to say I fell in love with the wide variety of flavours they had, but my all time number one is the Pomegranate. In need of some more work for my portfolio I created this mock Ad. All I know is personally its message of mouth watering and thirst quenching juicy goodness did the trick as I was working on this late night and reached for one when I finished at around 3:30am!

I'd like to add on a small legal disclaimer if I may;
IZZE Beverage Company and its respective logo/brand are copyright onto themselves and are not affiliated with this design for portfolio use and non profitable purposes only.

Bubo

During my free time I volunteer here at a local wildlife rehab center called SweetBriar in Smithtown. We have all sorts of raptors there, but ones that I love and fear at once are the Great Horned Owls. They always looks like their giving you the "evil eye" despite their beautiful and powerful nature. The idea came to me as sometimes I like to challenge myself by working with a limited pallet. I also though as I began the initial concepts of this that it would look awesome on a brown/dark brown tshirt. I submitted it to threadless and its pending approval to be voted on.

I recently moved my art blog off another site and onto this one for more professional and personal reasons. Some of you may know me, other may have never even heard of me. My interests and hobbies/aspirations are listed in my profile. If you wish to know more about me all you need do is kick back, relax and ask! :)
